Eagle Mountain House Wedding: Ashley & Darby

Ashley and Darby wed on a beautiful spring day in the White Mountains of New Hampshire at the Eagle Mountain House. This venue is tucked in the hills of Jackson, overlooking its 9-hole golf course with views of the mountains. Guests are free to play golf, hike from trails that leave from the property, enjoy the veranda that extends the length of the hotel and so much more! I arrived early to photograph details around the hotel, Ashley’s dress and her adorable kitten flats from Charlotte Olympia. While Corey was photographing Darby and the guys getting ready, I was with Ashley and the girls. These moments are so fleeting and so special- it’s one of my favorite parts of the day! Before meeting Darby for the first look, I was able to spend some time with Ashley to photograph her alone and also with her bridesmaids. There are so many beautiful locations on the Eagle Mountain House property to take portraits. We were lucky to have some cloud cover which enabled us to walk all over! The ceremony was held on the 3rd golf tee and was concluded with the firing of a cannon (you’ll see some residual smoke in one of the photos!). Cocktails on the beautiful veranda was followed by a lively reception in the carriage house. Carrie, from Dutch Bloemen Winkel, and her staff designed the most beautiful bouquet and flowers at the reception. The cake and cupcake tower from White Mountain Cupcakery was stunning! Dinner, toasts and dancing concluded the festivities and we were even able to step out for a few dusk portraits. Ashley changed into a cute pale pink cocktail dress for dancing the night away. Thank you two for being a joy to work with. You both were so full of laughter and smiles and it makes our job so enjoyable 🙂 Congratulations again Ashley and Darby!
