Jamie & Matt: Mountain View Grand Sweet Summer Wedding

The Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa is a beautiful old hotel nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It holds a special place in both Jamie and Matt’s hearts as Jamie’s great grandmother wed there! What an amazing connection, I just loved this! Jamie also had a pillbox hat made specifically for her day, that was very similar to the one her great grandmother wore! Matt and Jamie wed on August 4th, 2012 on a classic summers day. Jamie got ready in the spa while Matt and his guys had a little Makers Mark to give Matt a small toast before their ceremony. They said their “I do’s” in the hotel gardens, and had their reception in the stunning Crystal Ballroom. The property there is endless for portrait possibilities. We snapped some right after the ceremony, including a huge group shot of everyone at the wedding! Then we snuck away later to grab some portraits of Jamie & Matt in the sunset light. Bella! We also did a fun portrait of Jamie and Matt in the Crystal ballroom while all their guests were seated at their tables around them. Jamie’s great grandmother had a similar photograph taken (in black & white, and must have been quite a challenge back then!) and we just put our modern twist on it. The night was filled with dancing, toasts, and special moments. Congrats you two, I loved capturing your wedding day!
